Industrial Design
Final prototype - jacket

Arctic Protection Clothing

Master thesis, 2015, in collaboration with Sintef and Devold. The goal was to enhance the working conditions for offshore workers in arctic environments. I worked on desgning and developing mid layer garments with focus on technical solutions that could handle varying workload and weather conditions.

Final prototype - jacket

The jacket was developed by looking at body mapping and placing a venting spacer on areas tending to overheat. This was done to meet the varying workload and keep workers warm and dry during the whole shift.

Prototype - BIB

The BIB concept was developed for use with the coveralls used in the industry. The garment can be removed without undressing, by using the zippers on the sides.

I decorated a whole wall with images of "state of the art" clothing to get inspiration and ideas in the development of new solutions.
